Hume bef?rchtete in dieser noch sehr konservativen Zeit mit den Vertretern der Kirche in Konflikt zu geraten. Dieser Abschnitt handelt von Wundern und Wunderberichten, was zu dieser Zeit ein h?ufig diskutiertes Thema der Philosophie war. Hume versuchte anhand seiner Wunderdefinition zu argumentieren, ob Wunder m?glich sein k?nnen und ob es Berichte dar?ber geben k?nne. Im Folgenden soll die Argumentationsstruktur Humes Darstellung, gegliedert in den ersten und zweiten Teil, aufgezeigt werden.
